Andrey Burtaev aka Electrosoul System has already made a name in the international Drum and Bass scene, his tunes are getting played by top Djs all around the world and music Journalists as well as listeners appreciate his production talent and fine taste for music.
Around 2002 his first releases in a intelligent/atmospheric style got played by Artists like Nookie, Blame, Big Bud and Future Engineers. This was the time when Electrosoul System started performing as DJ and soon appeared regularly at the monthly event “Atmosphere” soon his popularity among the Drum and Bass fans in Russia increased and so he got a Residency at the “Steppin´Session” Moscow, headlining next to Artists like Makoto and Nookie, LTJ Bukem and many others.
Andrey Burtaev´s talent producing high quality tunes is getting noticed by labels such as Good Looking, DJ SS´ imprints New Identity and Formation, Grid recording, Vibez Records, Camino Blue recordings, to name just a few. The chief of Subtitles, Teebee also took note of the development in the creativity of Electrosoul System and signed several tracks for his label. Electrosoul System´s releases attract the listeners with their futuristic originality and quality, his unique productions got selected for the popular Mix CDs of Knowledge and ATM Magazine and internationally respected Sound Compilations.
In the last years Andrey was travelling all over Russia and played in England, Holland, Austria, Romania, Poland, Ukraine and Moldavia, highlights of course are the performances at the “World of Drum and Bass” in Tallinn, Estonia and “Movement” in London. Electrosoul System in 2007 becomes one of the most perspective artists in the Russian Drum and Bass league. The invitation to perform at St. Petersburg´s Pirate Station Festival was a proof of his popularity; a huge crowd greeted Electrosoul System performing alongside, Goldie, Hype, Total Science, Dieselboy and many others.
At the present Electrosoul System is hosting his own weekly Radio-Show at Moscow´s dance radio station No. 1 Megapolis FM next to performing all over Russia and Europe. He won “Best Producer” at the Russian Drum and Bass Awards in St. Petersburg in spring 2007. The 10 new releases of this year already found their place in the sets of Djs all around the world. The Future looks promising for the talented Artist from Russia.
